I knew a lady in the city I once lived in who suffered through Fibromyalgia. It’s such a debilitating disease.

Yes indeed, a great post. Friends who have this say the greater wounding is the lack of empathy and judgement that comes from others, especially family and friends.

Yes, I did note that 🙂 but it is a great post, and I hope others read it. My friends would resonate with it.

Oh good. I think maybe I should put something else in the text of my reblog? Or use a diff word? My brain won’t help me right now.

A good friend and co-worker with this condition helped me better understand it many years ago. (Quite a few people where we worked had the idea that there was nothing seriously wrong with her because she always put forward her best smile and her most cheerful way of dealing with things. Her positive attitude and smile was her way of fighting against the pain. I got to see how serious it was. She even asked me if I would take care of her children if anything ever happened to her.)

Yes. It’s no picnic. Good hours and bad hours. Pain is always present somewhere. Fibromyalgia is one of my ailments too.
