My submission for Week 30.
Title: “ Looking Up ”
Description: I love the looks of this kind of sky and wanted it to be my negative space… but I’ve done tree edges before. I went to the street light and stood directly underneath and tilted my head and camera phone back and snapped. I was able to crop out the sun. If you zoom in you can see the detail on the post and the wire at the top and the number on the lamp. My husband would have preferred the title “this damn street light” because it is a major interference for enjoying the night skies.
Colleen Chesebro introduced this. I gave it a go.
“The Diatelle is a fun, syllable counting form like the etheree with a twist. The syllable structure of the diatelle is as follows: 1/2/3/4/6/8/10/12/10/8/6/4/3/2/1, but unlike an ethere, has a set rhyme pattern of abbcbccaccbcbba. This poetry form may be written on any subject matter and looks best center aligned in a diamond shape.”
Week 29 of 2020 challenge.
Title: Blue mistflower
Description: We planted a butterfly garden and had high hopes for a gloriously colorful garden. Well we have a little bit of color but is very hard to see from the house which is only 75 feet away (seems closer, but guess not).
However this blue mistflower is gorgeous. I took a closeup and only cropped it to square shape. You can zoom in to see even more detail.
